In-reach
We try wherever possible to support children and young people to remain in their mainstream setting and staff from The Bridge School, will come out to school and offer advice, guidance and outreach support.
We can offer in-reach support which can vary according to the individual needs of the young person. In-reach support can be a bespoke programme or can be a specific intervention.
Children and young people can attend The Bridge School for half a day session per week or for 1-2 full days. This support will either take place at our Cossington centre or at a venue within the community.
Interventions can include our popular secondary RISE programme, which is focused on supporting children and young people to develop resilience, self-esteem and self-worth. Primary children access the forest school/ outdoor provision which is led by The Bridge team.
We can offer a range of bespoke programmes, which focus on developing a sense of self-worth, self-confidence and teaching coping strategies to young people to enable them to manage positively in their mainstream setting.
