Parents
Hello, my name is Sally and I am the PFSA at The Bridge School. This is my 5th year with The Bridge and it has been a pleasure to support so many families within this time. I can help parents and carers in a variety of ways, such as behaviour management, emotional wellbeing, building a partnership between home and school, attendance, finances, housing and signposting on to relevant services that may support you and your young person. I am happy to meet with you at your home, in school or I can be found at our Tuesday coffee mornings at Polden Bower school café.
If you feel that you may benefit from this additional support, please do contact the school for more information or to chat with me directly.
If you need support with any of the following please do not hesitate to contact me.
- Sleep
- Healthy Eating
- Importance of wellness
- Routines
- School readiness

Please see the below list of local organisations, helpful numbers and links to additional support
The Somerset Local Pantry
The Somerset Local Pantry is a community-run project that buys or collects surplus food to prevent it going to waste, and then makes it available to their members for a weekly fee, charging between £3.50 and £5. The number of items varies and usually, but not always, includes fresh, chilled and ambient (tinned or dried) foods. A typical week could include fruit and vegetables, eggs, and dairy or non-dairy drinks, pasta, cereals, and tinned foods. There are sometimes ready meals and sweet treats. The value of the food also varies but always exceeds the membership fee, sometimes considerably.
