The Designated Safeguarding Lead at The Bridge School is Sarah Harding. If you have any questions or concerns and you would like to contact a Designated Safeguarding Lead at the school please email Sarah.Harding@thebridgesedgemoor.org. The Bridge school has a Safeguarding team as you can see above who work closely together to ensure we keep our children and young people safe.
Everyone who comes into contact with children, young people and their families has a role to play in safeguarding children. School staff are particularly important as they are in a position to identify concerns early and provide help for children, to prevent concerns from escalating.
Our Welfare Team are available to work with families, where concerns are raised at the earliest opportunity and/or where families identify that they need support themselves.
Staff at The Bridge School, work closely with Social Care, the Police, Health Services and other services to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm.
All staff at The Bridge School receive appropriate training for their roles, in order to be able to safeguard children and young people. Training includes:
